White Pudding/ Hog Pudding Complete Mix - 500g (makes a 1500g batch)

A blend of oatmeal, onion and spices to make a traditional white/hog pudding.

Method

  •          Mince 500g beef suet through a 5mm plate.
  •          Add 500g pudding mix and mix thoroughly.
  •          Add 500g warm water (around 40 °C) and mix to a slurry.
  •          Fill into casings.
  •          Steam or boil until the internal temperature is at least 72 °C
  •          Allow to stand, the pudding will firm upon cooling.
