Pepper Pie Mix

A delicious rich creamy pie mix with a peppery kick. Great with chicken, beef and lamb and perfect for use in pies, pasties and slices.

Ingredients

  •          450g diced meat.
  •          500g water or stock.
  •          50g pepper pie mix.

Method

  •          Add a little of the cold water to the pie mix and mix to a paste.
  •          Add the paste to the stock/water, along with the cooked meat and bring to the boil.
  •          Simmer for ten minutes.
  •          Fill into pie shells or pastry.
  •          Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven at 220°C.
