Kashmiri Masala Curry Powder

A combination of warm Indian spices that make for a delicious kashmiri curry.

Kashmiri curry recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs, chopped
  • 50g kashmiri curry powder
  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 1 green apple, peeled & finely sliced
  • 300ml natural yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the onions and cook until soft, then add the chicken & cook until browned all over.
  2. Add the curry powder, salt & pepper and mix until combined, cook for a further 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato puree, yoghurt, ground almonds & apples, cover and simmer for around 20 minutes, adding more water if needed.
  4. Serve with rice & fresh coriander.
