Scotch/ Steak Pie Seasoning - 1kg

A traditional peppery spiced scotch pie mix

Ingredients for example batch

  • Lean Mince - 850g
  • Pie Seasoning - 50g
  • Rusk - 200g
  • Water - 900ml


Method

  • Add pie seasoning and rusk to mince and mix.
  • Add water and mix thoroughly
  • Allow to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Fill into pie shells.
  • Preheat oven to 220°c
  • Place pies on baking tray and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.


For best results

Leave pie mix in the fridge overnight to allow the spices to marinade with meat.
