Pathia Curry Powder - 40g

A tasty seasoning packed with traditional Indian spices to create a delicious, smooth pathia curry.
Ingredients:
- 700g Meat or Alternative
- 2 Onions - Finely Chopped
- 40g Pathia Seasoning
- 400g Chopped Tomatoes
- 15ml Tomato Puree
- 0.5tsp White Vinegar
- 1tsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Garlic Cloves - Finely Chopped
- 2 Bay Leaves
Method:
- Heat oil in a large pan and add the onion, garlic & bay leaves - cook until fragrant.
- Add the meat or alternative to the pan and cook until browned, add 20g seasoning and tomato puree, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the remaining seasoning, chopped tomatoes, sugar, vinegar and 250ml stock or water, mix well.
- Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the meat or alternative is cooked through.
- Remove bay leaves and garnish with fresh coriander (optional).
