Pasanda Curry Powder - 40g

A tasty seasoning packed with Indian spices to create a fragrant pasanda curry.
Ingredients:
- 700g Meat or Alternative
- 2 Onions - Finely Chopped
- 40g Pasanda Seasoning
- 400g Chopped Tomatoes
- 15ml Tomato Puree
- 1tbsp Almond Paste
- 100ml Natural Yoghurt
- 2 Garlic Cloves - Finely Chopped
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
Method:
- In a large bowl, mix the meat or alternative with natural yoghurt and 20g seasoning, leave aside to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a large pan and add the onion, garlic, cinnamon stick and remaining seasoning - cook until fragrant.
- Add the meat/alternative along with the marinade, cook until browned.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, tomatoe puree, almond paste and 250ml stock or water.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the meat or alternative is cooked through.
- Serve with rice, naan & a dollop of yoghurt
- Great with chicken, lamb, shellfish or vegetables.
