Korma Masala

A korma is a mild, creamy curry, full of flavour!

Chicken Korma Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into bitesize pieces
  • 50g korma masala powder
  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 250ml stock
  • 100ml plain yoghurt 
Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken, cook for approx 5 mins on each side or until cooked through and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the onions, cook until soft and caramelised, add the korma masala and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  3. Add the stock and cook until the stock has reduced by half, you can leave this as is or add this mixture to a blender if you prefer a smoother sauce.
  4. Add the chicken, cream and simmer gently, stirring occasionally until piping hot.
