Large fibrous skins – perfect for making puddings, smoked sausages, salami’s & more.
- These Fibrous Securex casings have a meat adhesion coating on the inside to reduce fat smear/loss.
- These casings have a lay flat of 75mm and have a recommended stuffed diameter of 84mm which will make around a 4lb stick.
- Fully immerse in warm water (<40 degrees C) for about 30 minutes before use and then fill.
- Fibrous casings can be smoked, which is not possible with plastic casings
- Each casing is 50cm in length and tied at one end for string to allow hanging if required.
