Ground cloves have a strong slightly bitter
taste which adds heat and a spicy kick to any recipe.
- Often used in Indian cuisine and in curries to add warmth.
- Mostly used mixed with other spices to create all spice.
- Great with ham, lamb and pork.
- Sprinkle over fruit – particularly oranges – before baking
to add depth and heat to the fruit.
