Chilli Con Carne Seasoning

A tasty, authentic, easy to use seasoning ideal for creating the perfect chilli con carne.

  • Ideally used with beef mince, but, can be used with pork, chicken, or shredded beef.
  • Packed with flavours of chilli, cumin & coriander.

Chilli Con Carne Recipe:


  • 500g minced beef
  • 50g tongmaster chilli con carne seasoning
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 x 400ml can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 x 400g can kidney beans
  • 10g dark chocolate
  • Chilli flakes (optional)

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the diced onion and cook for approx 5 minutes until soft, add the mince and cook until browned.
  2. Once browned, add the seasoning and cook for a further 2 minutes, add the puree and mix until combined.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, and a splash of water along with the stock cube, crumbled, bring to the boil and simmer for around 20 minutes.
  4. Drain and rinse the kidney beans before adding them to the mixture, add more water if necessary, simmer uncovered for a further 10 minutes.
  5. Taste, season & add the chocolate to your chilli, allowing it to melt through (add more chilli flakes here if needed) & serve!
