Biriyani Masala Powdered Seasoning

A unique blend of spices to create the perfect biriyani.

This seasoning can also be used in various curries, meat rubs & other dishes.

Biriyani Recipe:


  • 300g basmati rice
  • 30g biriyani masala
  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 30g butter
  • 600g chicken breast, chopped
  • 900ml chicken stock
  • fresh coriander

  1. Soak and wash the rice until the water runs clear, this removes the starchy residue.
  2. In a hot pan, melt the butter and cook the onion until soft, add the masala mix and cook for a furher 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and fry until cooked through & coated in the spices.
  4. Stir in the rice and cover with stock, cover and bring to the boil, reduce the heat and cook for approx 5 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and leave for around 10 minutes, stirring regularly, the stock should be absorbed.
  6. Top with chopped coriander and serve.
