An easy peasy bao bun recipe - guaranteed to impress!
Ready to use bao buns
500g pork belly, sliced
100g Tongmaster Szechuan Glaze (our spicy salt & chilli glaze is also perfect for this recipe)
2 spring onions, sliced lengthways
cucumber, thinly sliced
Pickled red onions
Slice the pork belly and add to a container with 30g szechuan glaze and 1tsp water, leave to marinate for 5-10 minutes or longer if you can.
Cook the pork belly in a hot pan with some sesame oil until cooked through & tender (after cooking, try popping it under the grill to crisp up the edges)
Microwave the bao buns according to packet instructions & assemble the pork belly, onions, cucumber and a drizzle of sriracha, top with sesame seeds & serve!
